Founding Charter

Where ways of knowing meet.

PSI was founded on a simple but radical conviction: that the great questions of human existence deserve more than one kind of answer.

Knowledge, reason, and memory

Science where we know.

Philosophy where we reason.

Spirituality where we remember.

And the space in between.

Σ

Know

Science where we know.

Empirical evidence, rigorous methodology, and reproducible findings are among the most powerful tools humanity has ever developed. Where science has spoken clearly, PSI listens carefully. We do not treat scientific consensus as one opinion among many.

Λ

Reason

Philosophy where we reason.

Many of the most important questions — about consciousness, meaning, ethics, identity, and existence — cannot be resolved by experiment alone. Philosophy gives us the tools to think clearly about what we cannot yet measure, and perhaps never will.

Ψ

Remember

Spirituality where we remember.

Across every culture and every era, human beings have reached toward something beyond the visible world. Spiritual traditions carry accumulated wisdom about suffering, meaning, love, and transcendence. PSI engages with this inheritance seriously and respectfully.

∩

Both/And

And the space in between.

The most interesting territory is where these ways of knowing meet, overlap, challenge, and sometimes contradict one another. PSI's Both/And approach does not flatten these differences or pretend every view is equally valid. It explores them honestly.

The founding conviction

PSI was founded in the United Arab Emirates on 12 October 2026 with a single conviction: that intellectual curiosity and spiritual sincerity are not opposites. That science and faith can coexist in the same mind without one destroying the other. That the most honest position is often 'we don't know yet' — and that this uncertainty is not a weakness but an invitation.

We are not a religious platform. We are not a skeptic platform. We are not an academic institution or a self-help brand. We are a publication for people who want to think carefully about what it means to be human — and who believe that question deserves more than a single answer.

PSI distinguishes between what we know through evidence, what we reason through argument, what we remember through tradition and experience, and what remains genuinely open. We hold these distinctions carefully, without using them as weapons.

Founded in the UAE, 12 October 2026.
